The Suzuki Celerio is a city car that offers surprising levels of interior space, comes well-equipped and is economical to run.
The smart-looking Celerio possesses a practical five-door body style, but is still compact enough that it easily fits into the smallest of parking spaces. That said, the car’s cabin is bigger than one might expect. There’s lots of head and legroom in both compartments, and thanks to wide-opening front and rear doors, access is always as simple as possible. What’s more, the Celerio’s minimum-capacity 254-litre boot space compares favourably to direct rivals, including the Volkswagen Up and Hyundai i10.
All models come with power steering, power-operated front windows and a stereo system (with CD player and AM/FM radio). A wide range of safety features are included too, such as Electronic Stability Programme, Cruise Control, Tyre Pressure Monitoring, ISOFIX child seat preparation and six airbags.
The Baleno boasts strong fuel efficiency too. With a standard 1.0-litre 68bhp petrol engine installed, it returns as much as 65.7mpg, and produces CO2 emissions as low as 99g/km.
