The Toyota Verso is a compact MPV that comes as either a five or seven-seat option, making it an excellent choice for growing families. Available in four trim levels (Active, Icon, Design and Excel), the Verso is a stylish and practical vehicle that surprisingly cheap to run.
The new Toyota Verso features body-coloured door handles and (electrically powered and heated) door mirrors, all blending seamlessly with its Pure White livery. Six other colour options are available, including Eclipse Black, Tyrol Silver and Platinum Bronze. Standard features comprise automatic high-beam headlights, daytime running lights, front fog lamps and a high-mounted LED brake light. A smart rear spoiler enhances the Verso’s attractive silhouette.
Both front seats feature recline-and-slide functionality, while the driver’s seat is also height-adjustable. Thanks also to the tilt-and-telescopic three-spoke leather steering wheel, you will quickly be able to find a comfortable driving position. Power-assisted steering and power-operated windows are among the range of features that come as standard. Stowage space includes a console box, an underfloor compartment, an illuminated glovebox, cup holders and seatback pockets, and coat hooks are also provided.
A range of engine choices include 1.6-litre petrol and diesel options, each with six-speed manual transmission. A 1.6-litre 110bhp diesel engine produces CO2 emissions as low as 119g/km and delivers as much as 62.7mpg. Icon grades and above also feature a 1.8-litre 145bhp petrol engine.
Anti-lock Braking System with Electronic Brakeforce Distribution, Hill-start Assist Control, Lane Departure Alert and Vehicle Stability Control Plus are among the driver aids included. Passive safety feature such as seven airbags, seatbelt pre-tensioners, ISOFIX child seat fixtures and childproof locks are fitted as standard. The Verso also features an alarm and immobiliser for added security.
