Since 1968, the Toyota Hilux has been the pick-up of choice for countless business and private customers. Its ridged ladder chassis is a robust and durable platform for the anti-corrosion treated body. The high clearance suspension and four-wheel drive system provides the best possible grip in extreme conditions.
The body of the Toyota Hilux can be adapted for the type of cargo you need to carry. The new pick-up is available in single, double and extra cab models. A single cab accommodates two people while providing a large 2.3 x 1.5 metres cargo bed. The 'Extra Cab' includes rear bench seats for more passengers and has a cargo bed measuring 1.8 x 1.5 metres. If carrying crew is your priority, choose the double cab with rear doors, increased leg room and full passenger seats with a deck measuring a respectable 1.5 x 1.5-metre.
Your deck area can be customised with accessories such as a sport deck with a retractable tonneau cover or various hard tops with a variety of side doors and windows. Three trim levels offer a range of exterior features as standard. Optional extras such as the 'Style-Pack' offer yet further customisation, both functional and stylistic.
The utilitarian cabin of the Hilux is just as robust as its exterior. Hardwearing plastics and upholstery feature throughout, in order to maintain a smart and professional appearance in tough working conditions. As with the exterior, the new Hilux comes with interior upgrades such as 7" Touch Screen Toyota Touch 2 Multimedia System with Go Navigation, two cup holders, 220V plug, a glove box and smart entry.
The New Toyota Hilux is powered by a brand new 2.4-litre D-4D diesel engine that provides a better fuel economy and comes with either 2 or 4-wheel-drive. It can be ordered as a six-speed manual or automatic and 4 equipment grades are available.
The Hilux comes with a pre-collision system, lane departure warning, automatic high beams and traffic sign assistance to help you maintain maximum control at all times. It also includes six airbags to protect occupants in the event of a collision. Convenience technologies like a reversing camera and cruise control are also available to take the stress out of journeys.
